Horror pc games
1 Outlast + Whistleblower
Just wrapped up Outlast + Whistleblower and bro… I need a nap and maybe therapy.
You’re basically running around an insane asylum with nothing but a camcorder, and the way it messes with your head is unreal. No guns, no help just darkness, screams, and that creepy night vision buzz.
Whistleblower somehow made it worse (in a good way). Waylon’s story hits harder since you see how it all started, and Eddie Gluskin? Absolute nightmare fuel.
When the credits rolled, I just sat there staring at the screen, heart still pounding. These games don’t just scare you but they wear you down.
⭐10/10 horror, 0/10 for my mental health.
2 Amnesia: The Bunker
Just finished Amnesia: The Bunker and holy hell, that game owns fear.
You’re stuck in this World War I bunker with one generator, one revolver that barely works, and something hunting you that you never fully see and that’s what makes it worse. The sound design is insane. Every creak, every footstep, every flicker of your flashlight feels like it’s calling the monster over.
What really got me is how it’s all about pressure the generator fuel’s running out, you’re low on bullets, you have to go back into the dark. You know it’s a bad idea, but you’ve got no choice.
⭐10/10 claustrophobia simulator. Never trusting a generator again.
